Joints D'arrêts

Retaining rings, also referred to as snap rings, are typically installed in a groove on the shaft or bore. The retaining ring acts as a shoulder which holds components in place. The retaining ring is held in place by interference on either the I.D. or O.D.


Matériaux:

Acier au carbone (standard) - SAE 1070-1090 : General Use

Acier inoxydable 15-7 MO (Retaining Rings with Lugs)- AISI 632, AMS 5520 : Higher strength, and improved corrosion resistance.

Acier inoxydable (Spiral Retaining Rings)- AMS - 5866 : Improved resistance to rust.

Cuivre au béryllium (special request) - Alloy #25 : Extremely high resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
