Ces joints combinent une excellente \u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9, un faible taux de compression r\u00e9siduelle et des caract\u00e9ristiques anti-extrusion sup\u00e9rieures par rapport aux autres joints \u00e0 l\u00e8vres. Dans des conditions de basse pression, l’\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 fournit sa propre force de compression d’\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9. Lorsque la pression augmente, la pression hydrostatique est transmise m\u00e9caniquement \u00e0 travers l’\u00e9l\u00e9ment d’\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 en \u00e9lastom\u00e8re dans la base anti-extrusion.
