Durometer Tester

Durometer testers are used to measure the hardness of rubber and plastics according to ASTM D2240, DIN 53505, ISO 868, and ISO 7619. These handheld testers are designed to measure hardness with the highest level of accuracy.

Shore A

Our Shore A tester is used to measure rubber and plastic materials that range from very soft to exceedingly hard components with almost no flexibility. Often used for softer materials such as nitrile and neoprene. Semi-rigid thermoplastics can also be measured on the high end of the shore A scale.

 

Shore D

Our Shore D tester is designed to measure the hardness of hard rubber materials such as rigid thermoplastics, hard resins, plexiglass, thermoploystrene, and vinyl.
