Low Temperature Oil & Gas Solutions


Hi-Tech Seals is proud to offer unique engineered low temperature sealing solutions.  Precision Polymer Engineering has developed fluorocarbon compounds to meet the most extreme low temperature environments. The V71C and V91A fluorocarbon compounds are well suited for many downhole, surface and subsea oilfield applications.

Exploration and production continues to face new extreme condition. Hi-Tech Seals can now offer a solution for low temperature environments plagued by high pressure/rapid gas decompression (RGD). EnDura® V91A combines ultra low temperature performance with excellent explosive decompression (ED) resistance.  V91A is tested to Norsok M-710, Total specification GS PVV 142 03/01, as well as, NACE standards: TM0297 (ED) & TM0187 (Sour Gas).

Key attributes of low temperature fluorocarbon materials:

  • Excellent resistance to petroleum, oil, silicone and di-ester liquids
  • Good elongation properties making fitting easier even at low temperatures
  • Low compression set giving excellent seal performance
