BoKure™ is Hi-Tech Seals' family of high-performance cast urethane materials, engineered for longer wear life, superior toughness, and industry-leading mechanical and chemical durability.
In harsh, high-stress industries such as mining, oil and gas, bulk material handling, and agriculture, components are exposed to abrasion, impact, vibration, aggressive chemicals, and temperature fluctuations. Under these conditions, traditional materials including rubber, plastics, and many metals reach their limits. Parts crack, swell, deform, corrode, or wear out prematurely, driving up maintenance costs and reducing equipment reliability.
High-performance cast urethane has become the material of choice precisely because it addresses these failure points. BoKure™, developed through Hi-Tech Seals' cast urethane division, takes that performance further. Unlike lower-grade urethanes formulated with cheap fillers or plasticizers, BoKure™ uses premium resins, curatives, and specialized additives, delivering an exceptional combination of mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, impact performance, and high rebound. Components absorb shock and vibration, resist tearing, and maintain dimensional stability under repetitive and high-load mechanical activity.
BoKure™ can also be cast into virtually any geometry, enabling rapid design, prototyping, and customization for application-specific requirements. BoKure™ can be manufactured in components including, but not limited to:
